i am in the mood to blog. di sini lagi tu aku blog ah..which is a good thing, inda jua sunyi blog ani. inda ja? =).

so anwyays, the csm gang at the moment are still in the exam mode. the maths gang ah..ka-pi-san durang punya timetable, 3 consecutive days of maths and will be followed by a CO paper. if it was me, 3 days of maths? jawabnya..pinggggsannnn yo! personally, preparing for yesterday's papers was the roughest time~ i had two papers, a comp and a maths, i had a sleepless night..eh no, no-sleep night = balik rumah mengampai. not good for health, so people don't try this at home.. orang csm saja sanggup cani ani. hehehe..apakan.

kamu..yesterday, i went to the countrypatch cafe in kiulap. the food was real nice..macam di Capers jua masakkannya.. except cara membayar inda sama. mahal pulang.. but worth it. sebab the portion banyak for each plate. and and..i tried the scones and the omellete(sp?)..nyaman kamu!! and the 3-layer cheesecake simply delishh~ yumm..and ada mud cake, i havent tried that one yet..but it is the Most Wanted. arah kadainya, there is a corner yang kana usai mcm untuk christmas with all the big socks hanging, and a christmas tree..bah..sesiapa yang suka begambar atu..siok tu begambar di sana. i like the deco..very sweet. =). jadinya aku ah..macam kana bayar saja bah meng-advert di sini ah..hehehe. =P. indabah manatau, kamu cari-cari tampat makan...

Salaam gang.

i know it's been awhile since the last time i posted up a proper entry. although i am still not sure if this time it will be one. so just run with me, yea..

as clearly as the ubdians had known about the ubd beach carnival, the csm gang pun inda jua terlepas pandang. waseh..bahasa! haha. so last sunday, we went out to check out the carnival. mofa, moe, and mocys carpooled sama-sama ikut mof. kami sampai around 10 am, di saat bayu masih menghembus dengan nyamannya. lol. panat bahasa melayu ku ani.

so anyways, macam-macam terjadi that day. the highlight of the day pasal selipar putus. dua-dua balah lagi tu. unfornate banar kejadian atu eh. nasib ada orang expert ngusai kan, lawa! pakai tali. nice eh~ and then, sebalah lagi putus, toink! very very very unfornate. hehe. but eventually, mot saved the day, belikan a new pair of flip-flops. a very cute one i might add. lawa~ =).

atu baru kisah pasal slippers, ani pasal sms mistyping. hehe. atu banar-banar pacah! lets assume the person was me lah ah yang typing the sms..to be sent to mot. "ok tu. kami masih di sini. kami do it..." and then i was liked all big eyed and laughed my head off at the same time showing it to mocys. the do it should not be there sebenarnya, if you think logically pun the do it part doesnt fit bah with kami. hahaha. atu sebab, i was singing ikut the guy who was performing arah the carnival nyanyi lagu i believe i can fly. in the lyrics ada sebut do it~ haha. so subconsciously, i typed in do it tia plg. again, just assume it was me who did the mistyping. hehehe. surely, pacah banar kami time atu. nasib jua sadar before sending, kalau inda mot at the other end will surely blur tu. hehe.

so anyways, i hope this is proper enough. ;).

by the way, the csm gang, bila kita gather-gather before the exams starts? =).

upgrade from Boyfriend to Husband.

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower, gifts and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0, World Cup 2.5 and Badminton 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Dear Desperate Housewife,

First keep in mind:
Boy friend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1.

Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly.wav files. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0, Tongkat Ali 6.9 and sexy lingerie 8.8.

the CSgang - minus Sara - finally went for our first real ECA on the 27th Aug 2008 at approximately 4pm. followed by Asmah & Pei Yuen.

met up at the gym & arrived at the squash courts to find that Khairul was nowhere to be found.

Khairul is a close friend of ours & is a major AJK for Squash Club. translation: connection. or "urang dalam" nya urg putih.

so, no Khairul - no attendance. submit forms & registration fees. chao ching ching to Tennis court. Amir has 2 tennis rackets & Pei Yuen has one.

mcm si taie lah kami main. ala ala Maria Sharapova. kn serve lah ni. umban bula bukan main tinggi, ngayun racket bukan main kuat, sekali bula nya, pui! sampai pun inda ke net.

once upon a time....

we were CS freshies. *looks up at the skies*

this afternoon we had CS Orientation Day to welcome the CS freshies ke dalam bidang masak memasak. bukan apa. memasak utak.

inda wah.

back when we were freshmen there were no orientation days like these to welcome us into the programme. we poor things. ohhhh the grief! it eats u alive.

one suggestion that came up during the AJK meeting was to put up a banner for the freshies that says: "WELCOME TO HELL!" entah sapa kah tu punya idea. talur taluran kali. *ahem*

so knowing us, or more loike SOME of us, we couldn't help but make a complete fool of ourselves during the games.

example would be ME. drawing a tongkeng-like thingie on the whiteboard during the pictionary games when it says to draw a Kueh Seri Muka on the paper. god that was embarassing! way to make a good first impression on the juniors. not to mention the lecturers! they must think m nuts.

then there was of course Sara. who uhhhh, fought blood, sweat & tears to make sure she gets a seat during the musical chair games. i'll let her tell u the story herself. matie ku krg kana tatak.

si mimi. anak ani is someone i would describe as "the one who can do no wrong". unfortunately she managed to keep composure during the games, that we are left with nothing to make fun of her. but loike i said in my previous post, "dun think calm water have no crocodile." yes i will let u ponder on that.

nonetheless, it was such a great experience! next year will be our turn to host the CS Orientation Day.

yang kedua- aku sudah bepadah arah diriku sendiri kan membuat S&T week versi kediaku..ani pun long over due.. apa? why not wait for another year? adedeh..abiskita tah membuat nah..menyamal ku ni ah..menyamal ku ni~~ apakan...

anyhoo, appearance i at time this is because,

first- i not get sleep after i mentaling myself playing Magic Pen, as in a computer game, not color pen that..
second- i already told myself want to do S&T week version mine..this already long over due.. what? why not wait for another year? adedeh (i is don't know the english word for that expression)..you go do now..(read this line using the English slang) menyamal ku ni ah..menyamal ku~~ apakan..

well, actually i think i just want to scribble some random occurences during the week. since some of our friends sudah pun blog about it. and since this is my version..i will do it my way.

There was this girl named Sara (bukan nama sebenar tapi eksenku) with her lollipop said, "kalau kaki mana ada terasa ni.." pointing to this machine that gave out static current when you turn the handle and ofcourse if you put two of your fingers on these two pads barutah terasa. so her friend, Mimi (aku ni! aku!) said, "iakah? kaki inda terasa?" dengan muka bangang. then, their other friend, Amir (nama samarannya MoT) looking confused and said, " ah kaki??". Sara repeated, "kalau satu jari mana ada terasa ni..". cAmir ani pacah, cMimi (aku ni! aku!) ani buang kes tia.

moral of the story: Mak Cik~~ Mak Cik Pekak ya Mak Cik??~ Pak Mat Tempe dilanggar motorkar~~~

and then, since the volunteers were ruled out to join the unplugged activities. kami main sendiri2 saja lah..and the story goes..

OGDC-UBD Tech Challenge Competition!

al-kisaaaaaah, toyeeeeeeb. al-kisah, maka tersebut lah kisaaaaaaah, toyeeeeeeeb. sang kancil dtg beramai ramai mengadap kebawah duli yg maha mulia sultan firaun! nah dtg cia panat ku.

well, seperti yg sedia maklum, kami @ Team Ragat, originally known as Team Betagar, Team Sadang Handal & bermcm mcm lg, comprising of Captain Sara, Amir, Aida & Wanie, anak angkat CSGang for a day, registered at the very very the last minute for the OGDC-UBD Tech Challenge Competition.

mula mula kami preser; pressure in the malay accent, pasal banyak urg andal andal join cheeeeeeee. we were soooo tempted to bail out & run away to watch movie instead, semua kerana hasutan ku, which obviously didn't work. sejak bilaaaaaaaa?

anyhow, 1st challenge, kami di suruhin mambuat rukit. or lam bahasa omputih nya, rockettttss, u noe rockettttssss? mcm bangang th ku ni kn. lam hati ku, menyesal! menyesal! pikir ku tah kana suruh buat explosives supaya rukit atu dpt terabang, ala ala iron man, rupa nya inda pyh. wawawa! basically, we just have to build a rocket & design it as such that it will fly the farthest distance mun di humban. but then, rukit tersebut ada passenger. talooooooor bui, yes u heard it, talur. iatah kami pun talur taluran jadi nya. we have to make sure that the egg will not break during "landing time!" iatah kn, Sara & Amir & Wanie did most of the thinking part, like how to design the fins & the muncung of the rocket whatever u call it & where to put the egg & how to position it safely so that it won't break. me? i just sat there & absorbed everything & think to myself, "awu ahhhhh napa ku inda tepikir?" & sometimes, i suggested ideas yg memang udah tarang tarang urg lain dpt tepikir & most of the time i was just there to hold the rocket in place, help position the egg, gunting kn the masking tape & lend a hand whenever needed.

not bad for a 1st-timer. nya Sara: "baik jua ada si Amir, mun bini bini semua inda jua tepikir tuuu." true, true. gila, ragat jua tu rukit kami ahh! dpt udah kana recruit uleh NASA bh ni. jan inda galat! we named the rocket "Ragat's Rocket" & the egg "Baby Ragat" kekeke! i love them both.

sekali kn melaunch th ni. iski cheeeeee & nervous at the same time! the 1st rukit, woooooooo, atu punya jauh, tp malang tidak berbau, talur nya pacah. tionnnggggg! 2nd, 3rd, 4th antah lupa ku. pokok nya there was a technical glitch with the thing that was supposed to launch our rocketttsss, so to save time, the ogdc representatives ckp durg sj launch kn & suruh kami continue with the 2nd challenge. borinnggggg! mau jua kami meliat kali ahhh rukit kami terabang sambil menyanyi lagu "Kau Tinggi Di Awan Biru" by Sharifah Aini. wawawa! before we parted with our beloved rocket, i gave it a good luck kiss & the rest of the gang, mengusap ngusap rukit atu mcm ianya edup. memang kami talur taluran.

2nd challenge & i quote: "build the strongest dome that will withstand extensive pressure from the top, with the maximum diameter from the shortest point possible, out of 20 sheets of newspaper." masa ku mendgr instructions atu, my head went all cengkerik sound. lalala. but once again, the guys came up with ideas that is soooo obvious but aku inda tepikir. tiew! we were folding the newpapers damit damit & panjang panjang to make the skeleton, when Wanie complained, "awu mun cemani..." & Amir butted in "inda papa, $300! $300!" wawawa! fyi, $300 is the price for the 1st place. so we all went, "300! $300!" mcm urg gila usin. memang pun!

then Sara came up with a brilliant idea, in which she suggested that we "anyam" the folded newspapers together to make a very strong & stable top. not so strong after all, as u will see later on. apparently, Sara handal menganyam pasal ia di rmh hobby nya menganyam jongsarat. tsk tsk tsk, dun judge a book by its cover! or, dun think calm water have no crocodile. apa kan? anyways, so she went all anyam anyam with the surat kabars, full of action & concentration, sehingga saujana mata memandang. entah apa kh erti nya tu inda ku tau.

the making of Si Tudung Dulang:

well, i dun mean to brag, but we ended up with the most beautiful dome:

we named it "si tudung dulang" & on the kulit of the dome ada nama "Peanuts" & "Dilbert" pasal secara tidak sengaja, kami tebungkus dome atu pakai cartoons section of the BB. cute!

unfortunately, bila udah kn di taruh weights on top, si tudung dulang could only withstand 2.5 kg, was it? entah, pukuk nya rubuh bh ding! i protested, "but its a beautiful dome!" & i was given this reply, "not anymore!" chaissssss! berani! ohh well, at that point hancur musnah cia harapan kami untuk memenangi usin sebanyak $300. mimpi kn bebagi th ni, "$300 bagi 4 berapa kn?" wawawa!

after that we headed for refreshments, mkn nasi lemak yo! sambil menunggu the judges mengira ngira markah. kami pasrah, sambil mengumpat ngumpat dome urg lain & komplen komplen pasal "ini tidak adil!" when we finsihed eating & went inside the CH again, mulut kami masih kumat kamit mengumpat ngumpat dome urg lain & ada ckit ckit pasal rukit.

we seriously didn't think we would win anything after witnessing the fall of our beloved tudung dulang. in fact, moments before the winners were announced, me & Wanie was joking, "$100 pun jadi tah! bagi 4, $25 sorg!" & we cracked up like crazy, till we heard this:

"3rd place goes to: Team Ragat!"

sekali we went from cracking up to being quiet for a split second & we looked at each other & went, "huhh?!" well after that, all hell broke loose. wawawa! we were so ecstatic & overwhelmed mcm kami cia plg 1st place. teriak teriak mcm urg gila & started hyperventilating. padahal urg 1st place & 2nd place semua diam diam pun. wawawa!

according to the ogdc representative, our rocket did pretty well & Baby Ragat the egg, was still alive & well when the rocket landed, & although Tudung Dulang failed to withstand extensive pressure, it was at least able to withstand some & that it was a TRUE dome. let me say that again, a TRUE dome. it was totally hollow inside, no tiang, no nothing & it was perfectly round, like a dome. wawawa!

so yep, begitulah al-kisah. i didn't even dare to dream of winning, but 3rd place? hell yeah baby! aku sungguh hepi! we all were! i dunno abt Sara & Amir, but for me & Wanie, this is the 1st time in sooooo many years that we won sumting. & for me, this is the 1st time in sooooo many years that i felt like i have brains & felt really good abt myself. i had sooooo much FUN. gila, we were like cbuk ketawa ketawa during the challenges, time urg lain stress memikirkan design, kami cbuk baibun. ahahaha! worth it, the very very.

we celebrated few hours later. jalan liat movie Kung Fu Panda. wawawawawawa! pacahhhhh! thanks guys! :) we'll see u again next year. wawawa! nyanyat yo! udah manang tu nya! udah inda manang, komplen komplen. dat is sooooo US, kekeke!

Mir, ku suruh tukang kebunku punya cucu punya mama punya indung laki (tukang kebun ku lah tu) membaca jampi mu ah, payah pulang ya bekeraja nah... hirit-hirit armpit hair nya ah. adedeh~ tapi ok jualah, bersih jua halaman rumah, dapat jua menyapu(save usin membali penyapu lidi) daun-daun kering dari pokok jati yang beguguran setelah di tiup angin yang mengganas akhir-akhir ani. chewah!! testing bahasa melayu ku sekajap. =P. pass masih eh.. hehe. =P.

The story dates back to the 19th century, during which sending 'SMS jokes' was famous using a magically connected object called 'Mobile Phones'. CS gang be-holiday-ing! funny ain't it? during exam week we still got the time to post something here, and now it is holiday sunyi tia. tebalik bah kitani ani. but then again, it's what the CS Gang all about, being different.. *nod in agreement* eseh! pandai aku ini berkata-kata. =P.

LE- huh! by the end of the paper, we had numb fingers!! some of us didn't get to finish some parts, sadly. in other words, kertas soalan itu boleh membuatkan orang sane jadi insane!

MoT reporting for duty,

An unidentified object has crash landed near my house next door where it has made all the youngsters (especially boys) addicted into playing one of the most addicted game there is ever made. This object has a long bar in which you can press buttons (5 of them) that corresponds to the color at the screen and a flat side where there is a protuding metal thing, a Switch? where you can pluck and two round buttons which reads 'Start' and 'Select'. (Oh! Forgot to tell you that you need a tv, a ps2 and a game which will be revealed later). My research team, consist of 3 of my cousins, ototo[1] and myself, have experimented this device 'umteenth' times and have agreed to name it "Guitar Hero III controller". Scientific name - "Ratiug Oreh San konturouraa". As you might have guessed, the name comes from the game. Here is the sample video.

This device is 'CURSED'. Once you start playing with it you'll never have the same fingers again. (Due to massively pressing unimaginable buttons.) MOCYS should have experienced it. *I think.....* That is if you play above Normal difficulty.

If you are desperate in attaining or playing this cursed object, I'd suggest you do this simple yet efficient exercise. (Do it at your own risk):-

-Firstly, on your left hand, do an 'X' with your middle and index finger.

-Next, without releasing the first step, overlap your ring finger with the 'X' that you've made. Do it for your pinky also. (Understand? No? Me too. Buhahaha...*ehem* You'll understand after reading below.)

-Now you have a crab pincer. Without releasing it, repeat the above steps but do it on your right hand.

-After having two hume-crab pincers, Stand up and walk sideways. Now you have a Crab.

LE class, Monday.

as the cs gang were well informed, we were gonna discuss on the opinion piece on that day. most of us dah siap. =). rajin datang melanda yo. haha. mana jua ulahnya, sangal bah itu kalau kan menjwb 'i don't have it' saja. but not in my case, sebab aku kejarangan kana tanya about opinion, kalau compre lain kisahnya. hehe. yatahkan, sebelum mula menyelami maksud-maksud yang tersembunyi di dalam article yg kana bagi atu, kami kana tanya if we knew anyone yg having technology addiction problems. class kami ani, ada masalah suara sikit ni, mahal nyamu. yatah, diam saja kami..kalau org malaysia ckp.. "buat deeee aje~", mcm org inda bedusa-dusa kami ah..mcm bukan kami yang kana soal. since we didnt answer, becerita tia our lecturer, dalam hati nya.. "kan ku umban pakai kerusi ku ani, anak orang, baiktah ku bagi-bagi hint dulu yang aku ani bulih jadi incredible hulk..". storynya, anaknya suka main game, then his clothes were clattered around his room, and she had been nagging him to sort the mess, tapinya inda mengelinga bah anaknya ani. apanah, last-last dibuatnya? umbankan nya deh..bukan anaknya diumbankannya, baju anaknya di umbannya keluar jendela, ingggggg~plok! bunyinya baju anaknya gugur. kesian..kata lakinya "you're punishing the wrong person, you should have thrown him out of the window" ani lagi ganas suggestion lakinya ni. ish ish.. ala-ala kata c saiful apek "people, don't try this at home, at the toilet can!". kalau bahasa cs gang, "chiu chi ni~"

we had our HCI presentation on our web-based user interface. sara, amir and me buat a typical horoscope website. and durang other cs gang, aida, aden and fakhriah buat this website for love quiz called love nanny. ours is ranggi and theirs is cute-cute gitu lho~ , kan kamu? hehe. the plan A was, sara would explain about our design, amir would answer the questions, and aku jadi users for the three sisters' ezrecipe08 website. the three sisters are ka dinah, ka laila and ka rosni. =). tapinya, we don't know kenapa mr.d begagas yesterday atu, orang present pun kesian ah..mcm kana uyung saja durang beckp. ish ish. tapi the best part is, aku inda payah present my views..whee. ganya butterflies dalam parut ku komplen, ngalih-ngalih saja durang membuat berbagai-bagai aksi stunts dalam parutku. sabar sabar butterflies, ani lerek..eh i mean..relek tah kamu *trying to be funny* =P.

let me story you, about my story yang telah sedikit sebanyak di storykan oleh fakhriah in her story. LOL. berapa byk story daaa~~

i came to ubd around 1 pm, i looked for an empty class around the clt untuk practice before fakhriah dtg. self conscious ku yo, mcm semua org meliat2 aku time atu, as if i was lost or prolly durang hairan meliat aku satu suit dengan warna manila cards ah..hahaha. biru all the way!! inda bagi chan!

then kejumpahan jua akhirnya kat g.8, time atu ada fakhriah dah. we did some last minute touch up, bukan arah diri kami, arah manila cards =P. then sara&amir joined the club. lepas tu, we practiced infront of them, sediakan soalan for discussion. hehe. man, that was fun, the session which should have taken only around 15-20 mins lasted after half an hour. mana inda, beibun saja and berpindah randah g kami sebab g.8 ada class. bousseiler~ surrogate~~ sterile~~ genetically identical, kumuh lidah ku menyabut eh.

during the presentation, entah..i blacked out on you guys!! inda g ku sadar tu yo..aku cakap saja. liat ms.E g tu langap2 ya meliat aku becakap dengan penuh kusyuk dengan tawaduknya ya mendgr. and then c ping and c liang, "go verrrrrryyyyy slooooooowlyyyyyyy ahhhhhh...". i was kinda choppy, so aku laju beckp. aku nampak tu c sara and aida ketawa. nerbes bnr ku..kajaaa-kajaaa kata org putih. hehe. if i didnt practice my speech beforehand, it would be no surprise if i said "death of many embryos and NEWBOM!!"

then the discussion..we said "ermmm...aaaa...because..because.." alot, well, i said that alot, fakhriah malar ckp "mimi jwb eh" hehe. then, ckawan tanya, "is there any clone found locally?" and i said "no", but pisuk-pisuk, aku nampak sara mouthed "du-ri-an!" aku begeleng dlm diam. malas ku kan beckp psl durian ah.

ms.E commented, "i think the presentation went well, the posters are very good. although, you were abit in hesitant during the discussion. but it was still good. it is good because it seems that you have learned alot about the topic. very interesting topic i might say.and you used alot of slides, you did right? and during the discussion, you are pretty good actually, because you know your stuff and you thought about it before answering the questions. overall, you did good. you (me) were abit choppy, you get what i mean? but still, you were good. and you (fakhriah) well, ermm..you were actually good!"

and my question is, berapa banyak 'good' yang terdpt di dalam comment di atas? hehe.
